Centering Prayer Poem

CENTERING PRAYER

I sit.  Still.  Quiet.
Timer set: 20 minutes
Welcoming prayer:  God for me.  God with me . God in me.
I breathe …Yah Weh
A flutter in my chest
Ah….there you are
I let go
Thoughts come, so many, never ending
I watch them float away above me.
I let go
I return to Yah Weh
The divine is still there waiting for me.  Every time.
We breath together. We are one.
I let go of this too.
The timer goes off.
