Brad Jersak opens us to a More Beautiful Gospel

What is God like? A punishing judge? A doting grandfather? A vengeful warrior? Some of our “God ideas” can be toxic to our faith.

What if we conceived of God as completely Christlike—the perfect Incarnation of self-giving, radically forgiving love?

A More Christlike God suggests that such a God would be very good news indeed—a God “unwrathed” from dead religion, a Love that is always toward us, and a Grace that pours into this suffering world through willing, human partners.

Please join us October 13, 2018 as author and teacher Brad Jersak opens us to this more beautiful Gospel of Jesus and moves us from deconstruction to reconstruction.

We will begin at 9:30 am and finish at 3:30 pm.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please bring a notebook and pen and wear comfortable clothing.

The event will be held at Highland Community Church 3130 McMillan Rd., Abbotsford BC.

Cost: $40.00
All proceeds go to SoulStream Initiatives, a non-profit organization that seeks to support the contemplative lifestyle and encourage others to live authentically with Jesus.
