Cultivating lives and communities of contemplative response.
Grounded in the Christian monastic tradition and informed by my experience in the Sufi Order of the West, discerning spiritual direction includes spiritual exercises, reading, self-examination, prayer, and service.
For a time, I walk alongside you on the journey you have already begun. I see us as fellow pilgrims. Together we examine ways in which you receive direction from any number of sources: fellow travelers, sacred texts, dreams, prayer, meditation, movement, the study of theology, loss, bereavement, a health crisis, losing your bearings, joy, a sudden and inexplicable sense of well being.
Always my responsibility is to remain curious about your process of discernment and how your own direction is being made known to you. And in doing so, I offer resources you may find useful.
All are welcome, no matter what your beliefs, or the form your spiritual practice takes.
