Doug Schroeder

Doug’s life was dramatically awakened to God in 2005 through SoulStream’s Art of Spiritual Direction, experiencing the transforming power of contemplative spirituality.  Since then he has been deeply honoured to bear witness to the compassionate work of God in his own life and in the lives of others through receiving and offering spiritual direction.

With like-hearted individuals, Doug enjoys facilitating in the training of spiritual directors, offering retreat experiences through SoulStream and participating in stimulating conversations about heart-connected faith. He is a husband, father, and grandfather, enjoys wilderness adventures, throwing clay on the wheel, and volunteering with his Church, Hillhurst United, and with Youth Centres of Calgary, a non-profit he co-founded in 2017.
